Ingredients:
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup maple syrup
¼ cup honey
2 tbsp. reduced-fat peanut butter
1 egg white
1 tbsp. fat-free evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup whole wheat flour
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. ground allspice
2 cups old-fashioned oats
1 ½ cups crisp rice cereal
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
¼ cup dried cranberries
¼ cup chopped walnuts
Procedure:
- Combine first 7 ingredients.
- Combine next 4 ingredients; add to sugar mixture.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Press into 13-inch x 9-inch baking pan coated with cooking spray.
- Bake at 350 °C for 18- 20 minutes.
- Score surface with shallow cuts to make bars. Cool on wire rack.
